About Vanessa

Vanessa began her career in public accounting in 1979 and was certified as a public accountant in the State of Georgia in 1981. Vanessa worked for Price Waterhouse from 1979 to 1983. From 1983 to 1988, Vanessa was the personal accountant for a prominent family in Dallas who owned several corporations. In 1989 she founded her own business and now practices as Vanessa G. Myers, CPA, PLLC.

Vanessa received her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in accounting, Summa Cum Laude, from Florida State University in 1978. She was a National Merit Scholar. She is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Vanessa is a member of her church’s handbell choir, and an avid cat lover.
